- Research projects conducted to improve technological quality of sugar beet, and decrease sugar losses during harvest
- Providing appropriate instructions for determination of sugar content and soil tare in the tare-houses of sugar factories.
- Supervision and control over the operation of tare-houses in the sugar factories
- Evaluation of sugar beet losses during harvest and storage.
