Dr. Taleghani, accompanied by Dr. Jalilian and Dr. Parmoun from Sugar Beet Research Department in Kermanshah, and other researchers and experts of the region, visited the sugar beet fields in Sarpol-e Zahab to evaluate the development of autumn-sown sugar beet cultivation. In this visit, Dr. Taleghani pointed out the importance of autumn-sown sugar beet cultivation in the economy of the growers as well as reducing water consumption. After this visit, Dr. Taleghani had a meeting with the managing director of Islam-Abad-e Gharb and Bisotun Sugar Factories to discuss issues regarding sugar beet harvest.
