In order to introduce Iranian sugar beet cultivars to farmers, a Field Day was held at the selected sugar beet field in Jovein, Iran. In this promotional program, Dr. Yousef Abadi, senior promoter- researcher of Sugar Beet Seed Institute, Dr. Rezaei, researcher of Sugar Beet Research Department of Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Center of Khorasan Razavi, and Dr. Toluee Nasab, the Director of agriculture division of Jovein sugar factory, while introducing the activities of the Field Crops Development Company (FCDCo), expressed technical points regarding Iranian sugar beet seeds, selection of different cultivars, preparation of field for planting, irrigation and fertilization of sugar beet during the crop season. This program was held with the coordination of FCDCo and cooperation of the agricultural management of Jovein Agro-industry Company.
